What happens when a snoot collides with our digital world? A dog's nose is an intensely physical thing. It's how they explore, recognize, communicate, and map their world.

This experimental series takes the familiar Snoot, a wonderfully tactile, biological object and translates it into something much more geometric and digital. The pixel snoot is a reflection of what we gain and what we lose in our ever increasingly digital world.

Each Pixel Snoot is wheel thrown and the rim is squared off with a paddle, individually sculpted and meticulously carved to capture that digital canine charm. The BOOP on the back is designed freehand and carved, making every Snoot completely unique. The unglazed clay exterior is sanded to a very fine grit, and sealed with food-safe mineral oil for a smooth, silky finish that contrasts with the fun texture of the Snoot and the geometric pattern of the base.

Size: Holds approximately 11 oz. of liquid and stands 4.25” tall
